Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Experience in human services, skill in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and with individuals undergoing acute episodes of psychiatric distress.
• A thorough understanding of the above-noted services, individuals, resources, and tools. Must have the ability to assess clients from a strengths model perspective, along with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to develop a theoretical perspective, in addition to the ability to work with a variety of people.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Good organizational skills and administrative abilities.
• Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work including weekends.
• Familiarity with Montana’s Developmental Disabilities System, community support systems, health care and human service resources, court, and police activities, etc.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Three (3) years of experience is required and/or an associate degree in a Human Services field or minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field and minimum of two years of appropriate and related experience in Human Services
