As a Distribution Center Specialist, you will be responsible for the overall organization of the warehouse facility in terms of pick, pack, shipping/receiving, put-away, cycle count, accuracy, handling, and delivery of warehouse inventory. You will be an essential part to the success of AWC, completing each function properly and exceeding our customer's expectations.

About YOU
- Unloading of all motor freight, UPS, and other incoming shipments.
- Handle all aspects of stock put ups and slotting locations.
- Pack, weigh, and process UPS shipments.
- Print delivery tickets to fulfillment, pull materials, and verify Purchase Order Notes/ Pull Material.
- Create Bill of Ladings for Motor Freight Shipments.
- Arrange for pick-up of motor freight shipments /load motor freight.
- Coordinate and document “Will Calls” with customers.
- Manage warehouse stock in its entirety and basic housekeeping of warehouse.
- Attend Mandatory Quarterly Inventory Counts.
- Receive and verify Purchase Orders and confirm sales orders within our home-grown system “.Net”.
- Performing other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Maintain outstanding communication, customer service to all customers and sales representatives you may have interactions with daily.
- Meet and exceed productivity standards while working safely, adhering to quality standards, and policies and procedures.
- Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality
- Maintain a sense of urgency and self – motivation working extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, stand, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, etc.
- Must be able to move and/or lift parts up to 45 pounds.
- 3-5 years’ experience within warehouse or distribution center
- Experience delivering to chemical, refinery, papermill plants.
