Job Description: Position: Manager of FP&A Reporting to: Director of FP&A Location: Bentonville, Arkansas Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as Manager of FP&A. AWE supports operating non-profits founded by Alice Walton including the Alice L. Walton Foundation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Art Bridges, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, and Whole Health Institute. About the Position: Members of the AWE FP&A Team serve as trusted partners, working closely with client entity leadership teams, AWE’s leadership team, and other stakeholders. This role is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis for AWE and its client entities. This extends to creating presentations, narrative explanations, charts, waterfalls, pivot tables, spreadsheet summaries, and appendices to enable a comprehensive and clear understanding to inform decision making and track progress against financial objectives. The FP&A Manager will also support special projects and ad-hoc analysis, including the creation of complex financial models and involve engagement with client subject matter experts. What you will do: Key Roles & Responsibilities Supporting the budget, forecasting and management reporting process. Assist in preparing materials for executive, management, board of director meetings and other forums utilizing tools such as Canva or Adobe. Support production of detailed financial analytics to drive understanding of performance including major cost and income drivers and opportunity to optimize performance. Develop useful visualizations of financial and operational information to support an environment of data-driven decisions across the ecosystem. Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing within AWE and with clients. Monitor and assess team performance, identifying areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness. Participate in mentoring, training, recruiting, retention, and team-building activities. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours to meet deadlines. Work with large data sets that often require scrubbing to find usable information. Occasional administrative duties such as data entry and calendar coordination. Qualifications required for your success: Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience; MBA or CPA a plus. 3 - 5 years of work experience in financial planning, forecasting and financial management. Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role. Ability to handle personnel issues and conflicts with professionalism. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and analysis. Ability to manage large amounts of data. Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into easily understood information. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel; Workday or Adaptive experience a plus. Superb professionalism and diplomacy; ability to interact with high-level individuals internally and externally. Proficiency in project management and resource allocation.
