As a Manual QA Engineer at Awesome Motive, you’ll join the MonsterInsights team, collaborating with awesome team members and tackling a wide range of responsibilities.
We are looking for a Manual Quality Assurance (QA) with some experience operating automated tests to help us test the WordPress plugin and all of its add-ons by ensuring that everything works as expected and according to our documentation.
This role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client and internal needs. Ultimately, you should have the experience to monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Common responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured testing documentation from the beginning.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and perform testing activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements, improve development procedures.
- Participate in feature discussions and provide feedback before the task is prepared for the developer to ensure there are no unanswered or unnoticed questions/concerns.
