Position Summary
The Windows/Citrix analyst should be able to perform complex tasks of research, problem solving, trouble-shooting, and resolution of issues in the Windows and Citrix Server environment. They will perform assigned tasks with limited assistance from more experienced staff. The job will require working with different technical Windows products.The Windows/Citrix Analyst should be well versed in technology systems and will work closely with peers to ensure proper security constraints and procedures are in place for all current and future Windows systems. The Windows/Citrix Analyst also supports incident response activities, analysis, risk remediation, attack mitigation, and post-incident reporting.
Position Responsibilities:
- Windows and Citrix Xenapp / Netscaler server administration
- Active Directory administration
- Strong skills in DNS, DHCP, Security, and Windows Servers
- Analyzing server capacity and constraints
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining file share environments
- Ability to solve server related problems through software troubleshooting
- Troubleshooting technical network issues using logical problem solving techniques
- On-Call rotation and Off-Hours work as installs and processing schedules dictates
- Key success factors for this position are initiative and the ability to pick up new technologies and drive improvements
Position Requirements:
- 4 year degree and/or 4 years work experience. A combination of both is preferred
- Current Citrix experience required - last 2-4 years
- Exposure in working with VMware preferred
- Familiarity and exposure to network printer setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Knowledge of Desktop configurations and scripting skill is a plus
- Netscaler VIPs also a desire
- Additional experience with VLANs, thin clients, Tanium, and backup applications
- Proven strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good analysis, problem-solving and solution skills
- Creation of small project plans
- Knowledge of wholesale or retail operations is a plus
- Familiarity with Monitoring platform softwares is a plus
