Axia Women's Health is looking for someone to assist in expanding our analytics/reporting program. This team provides valuable insight into our business processes and enables exciting features such as patient engagement, complex data analysis/forecasting, and advanced management tools.
This role will support many administrative and executive projects and reports across the Institute that drive business, operations, strategy, finance, clinical, quality and performance. This role will ensure proper representation and materialization of individual area analytic needs. This position will be responsible from the usability of the analytic and reporting platforms and ad hoc analyses granting consistency within the reporting efforts across Axia.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five to seven years of related work experience in healthcare industry
- Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Must have superior interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work and communicate with all levels (executive to analysts) of internal and external staff
- Requires strong proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Tableau
- Requires superior computer skills, i.e. MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and data mining techniques, i.e. SQL, Python, etc.
- Requires knowledge of health claims data structure and content in addition to other administrative data source
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions through analytics
- Lead the identification of information needs, design of data analytics plans, and the overall management of the reporting process across multiple functional domains
- Drive strategic thinking and serve as an analytics leader to functional domains by answering key business questions to define overall strategy and tactics and drive business decisions
- Review and enhance forecasts, with strong expertise in ability to qualify and quantify the business opportunity, including communicating results and recommendations to senior leadership
- Ensure accurate effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of performance to leadership, including clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business
- Collaborate closely with VBC team and to leverage tools and lessons learned and to share insights and available tools with others
- Invest in strong relationships with providers to drive Clinical outcomes
- Manage robust Clinical monthly reporting on the status of programs, leveraging KPIs based on objective goals, financial targets and program outlines including quality metrics
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Expert knowledge of databases (e.g. SQL...) using a variety of applications
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or equivalent preferred in a quantitative discipline
- Programming abilities and/or statistical software skills are strongly desired
- Expert knowledge of business intelligence and visualization tools is required (preferably Tableau)
- Broad knowledge of multiple health data software platforms (ECW, Greenway, EPIC,), data structures and elements
- Proven ability to act as a strategic partner with the capacity to quickly establish relationships of trust, credibility, and be a driving partner to clients
- Must be able to function independently and manage multiple priorities
- Must be very flexible in coordinating complex activities that are often subject to rapid or extensive changes and be able to prioritize urgent requests
