Based in Northern Virginia, Axiologic Solutions LLC, has an opportunity for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator at Hill AFB to support our growing team.
Responsibilities:
This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty location, to include deployments CONUS and OCONUS.
The employee must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, shift work, and/or overtime to support mission requirements.
Have a thorough understanding of customer's mission needs and be completely knowledgeable of hardware and software capabilities and limitations supporting that functional system.
Deliver end-to-end IT support services to end-users focused on customer satisfaction.
Provide Systems Administration for servers, storage, workstations, peripherals, communications devices, and software.
Preform regular Preventative Maintenance on IT systems.
Perform installation, configuration, hardening and testing for new/updated system changes.
Implement and Test software patches and security fixes as required by the network operations and security center or program management office.
Develop, Execute, and Improve documentation for installation, configuration, hardening, & operations and maintenance tasks.
Document activities, status, and issues worked.
Provide input to and follow direction from Configuration Management processes.
Observe all technical and architectural standards and DoD/AF Guidance
Build and maintain positive rapport and partnerships with peers and other relevant team members.
Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Data Center technologies in one (or more) of the following domains:
Networking – Cisco Switches, Dell Switches
Servers – Dell PowerEdge, Dell VxRail
Storage – Dell EMC Isilon, Unity
Operating Systems – Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Microsoft Windows Server
Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Enterprise Services in several of the following domains:
Authentication - Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, PKI, Certificate Authority
Auditing – ArcSight, Syslog, LogInsight, Elastic
Monitoring/Dashboards – Zenoss, Elastic
Patch Management – SCCM, WSUS, YUM
HelpDesk – Remedy, ServiceNow
Vulnerability Management – ACAS, HBSS
Database – Hadoop, SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB
Automation – Ansible, PowerShell
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related Field OR Associates Degree 2 years related experience
2 years of experience with IT Support of hardware and software technologies listed above
Ability to physically install and interconnect IT equipment in a customer datacenter
Experience with AF IT system is desired
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Must be a US Citizen
Active Secret Clearance
Professional Certifications Required:
DoD 8140 Certification (Security CE or higher)
