We are currently seeking an Early Career Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Lawyer to work with some of the world’s largest companies across multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to our sophisticated and diverse client base including F500 and other innovative and leading technology clients regarding privacy compliance requirements and opportunities for improvement of privacy policies
  • Work with and advise business and compliance clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions

Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in the data privacy space.
  • Substantive data protection and data privacy experience and an in-depth knowledge of U.S. and EU privacy statutes – including GDPR, CCPA.
  • Experience standardizing policies, protocols, and training programs, including the associated documents such as vendor and client contracts. This includes providing guidance across various stakeholders, such as business and product development, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and procurement.
  • Experience working independently and cross-functionally.
  • Experience taking on complex projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Active bar license in the state where you reside.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing legal advice regarding privacy, privacy impact assessments, data-sharing, and related issues.
  • Vendor relationship management/contract negotiation is a plus.
  • Excellent academic and law firm credentials, with experience in a dynamic in-house environment.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $100,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
