WordPress Developer

Position Overview:

Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, modifying, maintaining, and securing our flagship websites. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will play a key role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and security of our online platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your 5 years of experience to update the WordPress platform, ensuring it remains secure and up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
• Regularly update plugins to enhance website functionality, optimize performance, and address any security vulnerabilities.
• Develop custom solutions and new features to meet the evolving needs of our business and enhance the user experience.
• Implement API integrations to streamline processes, enhance functionality, and improve data accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and IT, to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime for our websites.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in web development, WordPress, and related fields.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in developing and maintaining complex WordPress websites.
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and best practices.
• Experience updating WordPress platforms and plugins, with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
