POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Analyst will be an essential position in implementing, and monitoring procedures to Ensure that the proper inventory is in all warehouse locations. This individual will understand all functions of inventory within our Standard Operating Procedures. Candidates must be creative, wear many hats, and not be afraid to provide insight and ideas outside of their area of expertise.
Inventory Analyst Role
· Implement and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
· Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and possible solutions.
· Work with team members and other sites to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimize over-all locations and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
· Will monitor warehouse and transfers for accuracy and cost effectiveness as directed by customer demand.
· Support inventory control activities, such as regular physical inventories, cycle counts, and Audit relations.
· Troubleshoots any assigned problems with footprints, SKU’s, and short allocations.
· Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions.
· Develop process improvements to achieve company inventory goals.
· Ability to generate and maintain monthly reports on all analytical data.
· Monitors special order returns, provides reporting and ensures quick returns.
· Must be able to manage the team and daily functions in the absence of manager
Qualifications
- Superior math and analytical skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify relative merits and weaknesses of alternative solutions
- Ability to understand and foresee implications of new information for current and future problem solving
- Advanced Excel user with ability to create pivot tables, v-lookups, and other functions to analyze vast amounts of data and compare alternatives in decision-making
- Strong knowledge of demand management/forecasting theory, modeling and tools
- Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics and how they generally impact financial performance
- Strong knowledge of demand management/forecasting theory, modeling and tools.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
· Degree preferred or years of experience in the following areas: Finance, accounting, supply chain, business management
- Must be willing submit to a background investigation
