What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Data Analyst position at Axion?
Conduct full lifecycle analysis of process data to include requirements analysis, process simulation, and process design. Assist in planning and programatic development of process analysis tools, data capture methods, and reporting capabilities. Continuously monitor, analyze, and simulate process performance and quality to identify improvements.
General Duties
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources, maintain and improve databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to increase process efficiency.
- Sanitize, transform, and ship data between data & analysis systems.
- Review reports and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Ability to pass pre-employment background investigation, including credit check and drug test.
- Demonstrated success with any of the following tools & technology.
- SQL, Databricks, SAS, Tableau
- Ability to obtain and maintain Office of Security and Investigations (OSI) background check/security clearance - full field background check required for personnel accessing IBIS, TECS, DACS.
- U.S. citizenship.
