Title: Data Scientist
Location: Champaign, IL (Hybrid- 3 Days onsite & 2 days Remote)
Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.
Position Overview
This position involves a highly skilled Data Scientist with a PhD in Data Science and Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering. The role requires proficiency in Uncertainty quantification, Statistical analysis with knowledge in digital signal processing and structural vibration. Responsibilities include developing software that helps engineers on cutting-edge projects, analyzing complex data sets, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions. Candidates must be adept in Python. With a focus on innovative solutions and a collaborative work environment.
Job Responsibilities
Design and develop software for simulations Conduct uncertainty analysis to assess the reliability and robustness of models and simulations.
Analyze and interpret data related to structural vibration dynamics and digital signal processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Education & Experience Required
PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering. Proven experience in software development
Proven experience in uncertainty quantification and statistical analysis.
Technical Skills Required
Software development using Python Knowledge of uncertainty analysis techniques and methodologies.
knowledge in digital signal processing and structural vibration.
