Data Privacy SME – AIA Delivery: Data Responsibility & Privacy (DRP)
Job Description:
The purpose of this role in the Data Responsibility & Privacy Delivery (AIA-DRP) team by providing expertise in the subject matter and building the regional competency and commercial opportunity with clients as part our over global Data Responsibility & Privacy activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to AIA DRP projects with regards to Data Privacy
- Provide Data Privacy SME advice across the regional business and interface with the regional advisory activities and verticals
- Work with the other regional and global GDPR SME’s on solution and delivery offerings
Scope of Data Responsibility & Privacy Delivery Solution:
- Deliver world class leading Data Privacy solutions as part of enterprises digitization journeys
- Technical “as is” assessment of existing client capability to be prepared for Data Privacy Regulations (CCPA, CPRA, UAE DPR, GDPR, etc.) and their ability to support the “live Data Privacy” situation.
- Technical review of their existing IT landscape with respect to Data Privacy
- Data workflow analysis across their IT architecture with respect to Data Privacy
- Identification of gaps and potential solution options for clients
- Comprehensive view of the vendor offers and Client internal capabilities
- Development of the Solution Design proposal for clients
- Solution Implementation follow through system integration, build and test
Essential Experience / Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Data Privacy and credible experience, ideally at an industry level. Familiar with vendors and their offers in the market.
- Experience with Privacy by Design from several implementation projects
- Ability to inspire with confidence as a Data Privacy SME
- Strong technical background and understanding across data management, data security, analytics and ideally front-end environments. Familiar with enterprise system architectures
- Knowledge of most common software stacks would be an advantage
- Some customer facing B2C experience would be an advantage including UX design
- Commercially aware and experience of c-level, client facing stakeholder management
- Familiar with development approaches e.g. agile and system integration, build and test
- Understand the business directions and trends related to one, or more, industry domains (preferably Travel & Hospitality, BFS, Retail, Pharmaceutical and/or Telco)
- Relevant post-graduate qualification (IAPP or Equivalent)
- Desirable: Dependent on region, the most common language / languages in that region plus English
