Senior Tableau Developer

Job Title: Senior Tableau Developer Location : Mclean VA Duration : Long term contract

1 posit onsite 3 days a week Tue wed thurs

What You’ll Get to Do:

Resource is expected to quarterback the delivery and integration of the UI components
Must be able to work closely with UX/UI developers, JavaScript Developers, and other database resources
Will be working on Data Strategy and Road Mapping
Helping clients identify solutions that exceed the scope and capability of Tableau
This resource is expected to help pitch in with work that is not pure development work, and at times is solutioning reporting needs.
Work closely with Manager to understand needs around client stakeholder management
Demonstrate a passion for learning and willingness to adopt new technologies
Contribute to a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement along with a great attitude, solid communication skills, willingness to learn and collaborate
Ensure clear documentation of created/modified functionality
You will also be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT
What You’ll Bring with You:

A strong grasp of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Enterprise Deployments, and Tableau Extensions & Add-ons
Knowedge of TABCMDs
Experience deploying and implementing analytics tools for large clients
Experience interfacing with data manipulation and organization tools (Denodo, Alteryx)
Some experience with ML applications especially Data Robot
Experience with Tableau Extensions
Strong SQL skills
Willing to work with the team and other developers across the company to continuously improve our approach to development
Have strong critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills - the ability to liaise with and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Should have a Bachelor degree.
