Axley Brynelson, LLP, a leading Wisconsin law firm with offices in Madison, Waukesha and Janesville is seeking a lawyer with 3-10 years of experience representing private and public sector businesses and government entities in labor and employment law. The ideal candidate will have experience representing employers with private and public sector union organizing drives, representation elections, labor negotiations, informal contract administration, grievance adjustment, labor arbitration hearings, defense of unfair labor practice charges and prohibited practice complaints, transactional employment drafting including preparation of employment agreements, employee restrictive covenants, and employment policies, coaching employers on leadership development, employee performance management, employee disciplinary action and discharge, and advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The candidate must have a commitment to excellence, exceptional service, continuous improvement, and working collaboratively with supervising attorneys.
