Your Impact
We are seeking a motivated Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our e-learning platform. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating engaging and responsive user interfaces and will have a keen interest in learning and growing within the field of front-end development. You will work closely with senior developers, UX/UI designers, PM, content management team, and others to build and enhance the user-facing aspects of our platform. We are looking for someone who is willing to grow their technical experience beyond front-end development, including backend and full-stack web development.

Location: Work from home as much as you want, live nearby any of our awesome US R&D Hubs (Seattle, Scottsdale, Atlanta, or Boston) so you can easily collab in-person when it’s helpful and be an active part of our vibrant Axon culture.
Reports to: Senior Software Engineering Manager
What You’ll Do
- Develop User Interfaces: Assist in building and maintaining user interfaces for the e-learning platform using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate on Design: Work with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, responsive web pages.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure that applications are optimized for speed and efficiency.
- Bug Fixing: Identify and fix bugs or issues in the front-end codebase.
- Testing: Participate in testing and debugging activities to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Code Quality: Follow best practices for coding standards and maintain clean, organized code.
- Learning and Growth: Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and practices to continuously improve skills and contribute to the team’s success.
- Mentor and Raise Expertise: Bring expert knowledge of front-end web development practices and standards to the team, mentor Full stack engineers looking to grow their front-end skills and experience.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, OR graduate of coding boot camp.
- 5 years of relevant experience in related field.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Proficiency in creating responsive and cross-browser compatible designs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- You love delighting end users and hungry for novel challenges.
The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 149,600 in the lowest geographic market and USD 224,400 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
