Job Summary and Opportunity
Office of the Chief Operations Officer opportunity as their Senior Business Process Analyst reviewing and identifying business challenges and providing solutions in collaborating with the team for Axos, a financial technology leader. 3 years' problem solving process analysis from financial services
Responsibilities
Analyze and identify business challenges and opportunities, and solve for them using fact based analysis to make strategic, tactical, and risk-based recommendations
- Recommend operational improvements by analyzing business functions, gathering information, and evaluating system capabilities
Collaborate effectively with management and staff both within and outside Tech and Ops, as well as vendors, to ensure impact on both upstream, downstream, and across company activities, and ensure regulatory compliance
Create and improve reports, prepare presentations to senior management
- Develop and update process map and procedure documentation to reflect changes as needed
Document detail requirements, analyze financials (investment and benefits), assess systems and any regulatory impacts, and present to senior management
Gather, assess, and report data to establish metrics and on-going benefits tracking
Manage and report on agreed-to initiatives to completion
- Provide support on other projects and duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Securities, and/or Operational Management from a well recognized university
- 3 years' problem solving analytical role for a fast-paced organization
- 3 years' financial services management consulting
Fact based communication to support senior decision making
Logical thinking, problem solving,decision making skills
Assess big picture and detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
- Will write SQL queries to answer business ad hoc requests
- Excel and PowerPoint skills
Self-directed, disciplined, well-organized, excel in fast-paced environments
