Job Summary and Opportunity
Crypto opportunity performing the middle office reconcilitations and guidance for newly forming Axos Digital Assets. Bachelor's degree with 5 years' high volume reconciliations and crypto understanding
This position is REMOTE depending upon your current location.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth reconciliation operations of custodial funds across our various products
- Work closely with the Business Development, Post Trade, and Accounting teams to monitor client onboarding, trading activity, wallet management, and reconciliation
- Daily reconciliation procedures for funds movement in and out of the platform
- Support proper record keeping, data entry, and reporting activities including maintaining data, documentation, and work papers in accordance with established policy and procedures
- Collaborate with trading, treasury, and operations to comply with timely settlements, reconciliation, and reporting requirements
- Execute procedures, document follow up work to resolve transaction related issues, and processing errors/exceptions with Operations, Treasury, Accounting, Software Engineering teams as required
- Identify and implement process improvements and reporting
- Log information into the appropriate reports and triage discrepancies in a timely manner
- Monitor errors in data while processing customer funding, trade orders, and ledger sources
- Onboarding of new digital assets and establish procedures and processes for onboarding of new digital assets
- Reconcile daily position, cash, and P&L breaks, coordinating with both internal and external parties.
- Maintaining and updating and managing the fee structures and P/L reporting.
- Improvements in the current workflow as well as assisting in the implementation of those improvements.
- Documenting complex processes to develop Middle Office guidelines and procedures.
- Working closely with cross functional teams and client services to resolve trading and business technology issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years performing reconciliations in a high volume environment
- Crypto
- Documented procedures and process maps
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, systematic, and accurate able to develop and maintain clear and precise work papers
- Excel under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment meeting tight deadlines and performance metrics
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas and formatting
- SQL and relational database experience
