About the Position/ Responsibilities and Duties
Our Nursing staff is the key component in ensuring that whatever facility we assist, we provide care that is the paramount in its value and quality. Axxess takes great pride in the nurses that work with us, and only hires the top in the area.
Responsibilities
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications
· . Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
- Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with Nursing Home health, safety, sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of Point Click Care is preferred
- Provide patient care including but not limited to, bathing, feeding and changing
Requirements
- Good physical condition and stamina, ability to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Current LPN license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 – 45 per week
