Axzons Homecare is one of the leading CDPAP Provider and Licensed Home Health Care Agency in NY State. Currently looking for a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Assistant in and around Suffolk County, NY. 6 and 12 hour shifts available.
Must be reliable and hardworking.
Job Types: Full Time & Part Time
Salary: $18.22-18.50
Requirements:
- Must have NYS certification for PCA & HHA's
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19
- Face mask required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Recent physical (within the last 6 months)
- Two References (Professional)
- Positive and compassionate attitude
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read patient's plan of care
- Observe and monitor changes in patient condition
- Assist patients by providing personal services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, feeding, toileting etc.
- Provide medication reminders
- Maintain a healthy and stable environment where both the patient and family feel safe
Language:
- English
- Bilingual Preferred
Work Location: Multiple Locations
Personal Phone Usage at job is for emergency only. Axzons has a Zero Tolerance policy.
