Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to tell the story of Guaranty Bank through content delivered through many different channels. This position is responsible for delivering the creative content for pre-planned marketing campaigns that will ultimately drive non-interest income. They will create and produce marketing content for the bank overall including our mortgage and investment partners. This position is to ensure the content of our different marketing avenues (website, digital ads, social media, online banking, etc.) remain informative, engaging, current and appealing for all customers. The content specialist is to strive to deliver a consistent brand identity and establish seamless communication through our online presence. The Content Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing department on specific campaigns with the marketing officer approving creative content and final approval from the bank’s compliance officer. This position will minimize the need for an outside advertising agency.

Essential Task Statement(s)
Branch Credit/Ownership (80%)
- Writing, editing, and updating content for the bank’s website, social media, and digital presence.
- Create print and digital ads for specific marketing campaigns.
- Create video content that communicates our vision and brand internally and externally.
- Photograph branches and employees to use in our marketing content.
- Interview employees for blog content – asking the right questions from the customers point of view to position the loan offices as the expert in the field with a result of driving leads.
- Be a part of managing the GBT Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn page, as well as Mortgage Loan Officers social media pages.
- Create promotional materials to support the sales efforts of our bank calling officers.
- Deliver monthly marketing data results in a creative way to share with bank team members.
- Analyze the data from the bank’s online properties (website, online banking, social media) to maximize engagement and desired results.
- Write press releases.
- Participate in bank marketing meetings to stay up to date on the Bank’s strategic marketing plan.
- Attend events, luncheons and conferences as requested.
Customer Service (10%)
- Represent Guaranty Bank & Trust Company professionally, efficiently, and tactfully.
- Acknowledge and greet customers with a smile, call customer by their name, ask if they need any additional assistance, thank customer at end of every conversation.
- Ensure continuing development of professional relationships with management and colleagues.
- Follow all bank policies and procedures.
- Answer and assist incoming callers with questions and requests, subsequently route callers, as appropriate.
- Receive incoming bank visitors and assist in directing them appropriately.

Position Qualifications
Education: Required – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Post –secondary certificate or degree, experience will be considered.
Experience: Required – 2 to 5 years of experience in banking or related field.
Preferred – 5 to 7 years of experience in banking or a related area.
