JOB SUMMARY:
The Imaging and Diagnostic staff functions under the direction of the Imaging Manager and provides care for the patient under the Imaging Manager, and Radiologist direction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Able to accurately identify pathology and further evaluate as needed
- Performs measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol
- Provides written or an oral summary of preliminary findings to the interpreting Cardiologist
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of all patients in the Echo department
- Performs other work related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 2 yrs. of current experience as ECHO Tech; must have adult echocardiography, pediatric echocardiology a plus
- Experience with GE logiq equipment
- Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
