Job Summary 

The Retail Delivery Driver is responsible for facilitating and transporting delivery orders in a professional, safe, and compliant manner. The Delivery Driver must adhere to strict time schedules, specific routes, and complete and maintain delivery logs while keeping accurate counts of materials that have been picked up or dropped off.  

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Check all orders to ensure they contain the correct items and perform a quality check control 
• Verify the addresses, route plan, and manifest  
• Pack the order and change bag into the vehicle using department approved storage devices   
• Ensure the vehicle is operating properly and free of warning/indicator lights  
• Enforce all safety regulations and policies  
• Complete reports and delivery documentation as required 
• Promotes a work environment that is positive, compassionate, customer oriented, and compliant with state and local laws and regulations as well as established company policies  
• Ensure effective communication and teamwork across functional areas and team members to achieve company goals.  

Qualifications 

• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business 
• Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies 
• Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies 
• Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies 

Education  

• High school diploma/GED required 

Experience  

• 1-3 years in a driving/delivery role or in cannabis

Working Conditions 

• Work is primarily performed in a dispensary setting. The working area may be odorous at times and loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between cold and warm temperatures. 
• Work is also performed while driving/operating a vehicle and delivering packages between facilities.  
• Involves frequent contact with staff, vendors and customers. 

Physical Requirements 

• Physical requirements may include grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions  
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and balance up to 30 pounds, occasionally stooping, bending over/and or crouching 
• Moderate to loud exposure to noise level and long periods of sitting 
• Exposure to long periods of bright lights 
• Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones  
• Driving/operating a delivery vehicle and delivering packages between facilities

Salary : $23,600 - $29,900
