Location: Hickory, North Carolina

Aytu is currently seeking an individual who enjoys the challenges of generating new business, while managing time a portfolio of clients, such as Psychiatrists, Pediatricians, Primary Care Physicians and Neurologists.  

SUMMARY:

The Sales Specialist promotes product sales through effective interaction with health care professionals and organizations to increase the awareness and use of the company's pharmaceutical products.  Additionally, the Sales Specialist generates new business, while managing a portfolio of clients.  The Sales Specialist will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new providers.  This position is primarily responsible to achieve sales forecast and gain access of promoted products and, subsequently, sales of products within assigned territory.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Represents Aytu BioPharma in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all company and area policies
  • Displays confidence and professionalism even during times of stress and in difficult situations  
  • Demonstrates business acumen and ability to understand ADHD disease state, products and market place
  • Displays teamwork and collaboration and understands that these are the fuel for organizational success  
  • Exhibit strong territory skills by identifying and physically calling on appropriate numbers of healthcare provider targets with the required frequency   
  • Demonstrates a total office call approach to selling by placing value on every interaction and conversation with the HCP  
  • Basic understanding of key payers, providers, and healthcare systems in the geography preferred but not required  
  • Must maintain ethical and moral standards  
  • Ensures policies, legislation and procedures are adhered to: including company SOPs, 21 CFR Part 11 and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
  • Possess a current and valid license at all-times with clean motor vehicle record for the past 5 years  
  • Performs other duties as required     

Job Requirements: 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent sales experience  

Experience: 

  • 1-3 years of sales experience is preferred but not required  
  • Excellent oral communication and written skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office  
  • Possess a current and valid license at all-times with clean motor vehicle record for the past 5 years  
  • Documented successful sales track record preferred, but not required
