Position Summary:

This Product Manager position is responsible for working on a range of important activities related to Exteriors products in the Outdoor Living segment, including trim, siding, fabricated products and accessories.

The Product Management team is ultimately responsible for the financial results of the product lines and must ensure that we are meeting the goals of the company. The Team manages the lifecycle of the product categories, from the creation and execution of the overall product strategy to the day-to-day management of the product lines.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about competing in this category, dedicated to the success of the team and will be highly organized, focused and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-going market analysis, competitive analysis and customer research which is the basis for the overall product and pricing strategy.
• Develop and execute current and future new product launches, rationalization, etc. and creation of overall 3 to 5 year Exteriors related portfolio road map.
• Drive coordination through all departments including Plant Operations, Finance, R&D, Etc.
• Act as Project Manager for the new product development process from concept through design, development and launch using a formal Stage-Gate process.
• Work closely with New Product Development teams across the AZEK organization to support efficient and coordinated product development and launches.
• Help to develop (and occasionally deliver) training programs to be used to educate the sales team, distributors, dealers and contractors on the features, benefits, and applications of our products.
• Partners with the Marketing team to update all sales, marketing and technical collateral including product literature, sample materials, displays, sales presentations and collateral, product databases, installation guides and installation videos, technical data sheets, Safety Data Sheets and AIA presentations.
• Works with our Technical Services and Installation/Applications teams across the AZEK businesses to develop and conduct product qualification testing, installation, and other field tests and of new and existing products.
• Conduct regular analysis of product line performance (sales trends, regional and geographic customer analysis, revenue, margin, and other basic financial and performance metrics) to help the team understand the business and guide short and long-term action plans.
• Manage current portfolio for SKU improvement, accuracy, rationalization, etc.
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA a plus.

Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Product Management or a related field in a similar position and showing demonstrated success. Building Product experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills including the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and ad-hoc reporting tools; Experience with ERP software and data visualization tools is a plus.
