What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate HRBP position at AZEK Company?

Position Summary:

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be: 

  • Administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, standards and government regulations. 
  • Coordinate various employee relations events and/or initiatives in support of creating a great place to work. 
  • Assist in staffing and selection activities for open positions and internal career opportunities. 
  • Conduct new employee orientation to ensure employees gain an understanding of Company programs, procedures and policies. 
  • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment process and handle on-going benefits administration. 
  • Support HR Manager in the administration and oversight of wage and salary programs to include hourly and/or merit, performance reviews and organization charts. 
  • Maintain Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and conduct self-audit reports to help assure data integrity. 
  • Perform timely investigations into employee relations concerns, compile investigation summaries and report findings to appropriate stakeholders. 
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. 
  • Support shared services in the administration of payroll functions and partner with division leadership to ensure time keeping accuracy. 
  • Participate and attend weekly HR Staff meetings and attend other meetings as required. 
  • Maintain applicant tracking and prepared information required for Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) reporting. 
  • Partner with cross-functional and/or HR representatives on team projects. 
  • Flex hours to provide support to off shifts in accordance with business needs. 

We believe the successful candidate will have: 

  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Prior experience performing investigations into employee relations concerns. 
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels in the division with the ability to manage conflict when appropriate. 
  • Must be progressive and strategic with respect to HR processes and systems, creating a climate for change. Use influence in the organization to positively impact change. 
  • Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations and plans of action. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, insight into group dynamics, high tolerance for ambiguity and change are essential. Must be self-directed, flexible and able to prioritize work. 
  • High integrity and ethical standards. 
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ultipro HRIS experience preferred. 
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in U.S. 
  • Education Requirements: 
  • BS or BA in Human Resources or related field is required. Master’s degree a plus. 
  • Professional certification (PHR/SPHR) a plus
