ODASD(INF) is responsible for providing infrastructure subject matter expertise to support Global Posture in the forward stationing, force realignment and contingency basing decision processes, developing policy and monitoring performance to ensure Joint Bases are efficient and effective organizations that meet mission requirements; manage policy, guidance, and legislative initiatives for real estate functions (acquisition, management, and disposal) and exercise oversight for DoD’s real estate transactions, oversee and analysis that supports major domestic stationing actions. The ODASD(INF) also plays an active role in the Program Planning Budget and Execution (PPBE) process. If necessary the ODASD(INF) will be the primary office to manage a domestic installation realignment and closure process.
Roles and Responsibilities
Tracking, documenting, maintaining correspondence and arranging meetings related to Global Posture, Joint Basing, and Real Estate- Completing review of various documents and reports to Congress
- Arrange meeting logistics and invitations, and facilitate equipment repairs
- Serve as the team expert performing administrative procedures, including organizing and maintaining filing systems, answering phones, and initiating paperwork for building passes
- Alternate office security representative that validates visit requests, initiates badge renewals and ensures the proper disposal of classified documents
- CATMS SME
- Executive Assistant to Basing SES
- Ensure appropriate coordination and signatures are obtained on correspondence packages
- Manage all incoming and outgoing packages through the Department’s Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)
- Provide account support oversight for over 1,500 users to the Joint Basing Cost and Performance Visibility Framework (CPVF)
- The duties of this position will also include the participation, possibly in both writing and review, in the bid and proposal process for Azimuth's continued work in government contracting. This participation will be on an as-needed and as-requested basis by personnel in the Business Development department, within corporate, and/or within the supervisory chain of this position. This position's inclusion in the bid and proposal process is vital to the understanding of duties, responsibilities, tools and function of the position and to proper conveyance for Azimuth's past performance.

Requirements
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail
- Proficient oral and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years’ experience with Global Posture process, the Pacific theatre and cost estimating.
- 5 years of DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution experience at the Office of Secretary of Defense or Military Department Headquarters level.
- Industrial Security and Handling/Transmission of Classified Material.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an active security clearance
