What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Engineer position at Azimuth Corporation?
Azimuth Corporation is seeking a talented Cyber Engineer to provide expert onsite support to an NGA customer in the Springfield, VA area. The ideal candidate will take ownership of HARLEM and RLEWAN connectivity and network security. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Experience submitting, monitoring, and ensuring completion of:
- Information Technology (IT) computer customer service requests
- Firewall Change Requests (FCRs) for Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret Commercial Cloud Service
- Authority to Operate processes with RLE Security, NGA DAOR, and NGA SCA
- System, architecture, network, and communication status checking through Command Line Interfaces (CLI) (1 year of experience)
- Issue investigations and code reviews using GITLAB (name of a public domain (Internet) code storage and distribution service) website user interfaces.
- Problem resolution report investigations using ThreadFix website user interfaces
- Experience using and completing work and tasks using
- NGA and/or FedRAMP Risk Management Framework accreditation
- GITLAB/Jenkins continuous integration pipelines
- Ansible (1 year of experience)
- Experience administering and deploying:
- Firewall and/or IDP/IDS (3 years of experience)
- IPTABLES (2 years of experience)
- Software Defined Networking and/or Service Mesh (1 year of experience)
- Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), QUAGGA (a routing software suite), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) dynamic routing protocols (2 years of experience)
- Access control layer administration (2 years of experience)
- Linux OS with Centos and Red Hat computers and networks (2 years of experience)
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Experience: 10 years and a BA/BS OR 8 years and a MA/MS OR 5 years and a PhD
- Amazon Web Service Administration or operations equivalent certificate
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (CI Poly may be required)
Physical Requirements / Travel
- Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
- May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
