About us

Azteca Market & Taqueria in St. Helena is hiring two part-time Cashiers/Sales Associates. We are a small hard working team passionate about providing the best customer service & highest quality - nothing fancy just good 'ole Mexican comfort food.

Ideal candidates will preferably have 1 year of customer service/retail or strong work ethic, cash handling experience and be bilingual in Spanish & English. Hispanic Grocery experience ideal but not required.

We are looking for an experienced Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be able to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, answering questions about products and services, ringing up purchases, and providing helpful advice to customers. Bilingual in Spanish Preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner.
  • Write down customer's food orders for taqueria.
  • Process customer payments in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Answer customer questions about products and services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist customers in locating items in the store.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Shift:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Evening shift

Weekly day range:

  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
