QA TECHNICIAN- DAWN, TX

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO ROTATE EVERY TWO WEEKS ON THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE: 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; AND 11PM-7AM. MONDAY TO FRIDAY. YOU MAYBE REQUIRED TO WORK A FEW WEEKENDS. THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR AN ATTENDANCE BONUS.

JOB SUMMARY: Total Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of product through proven QA methods, evaluates the in-process and finished product quality, interacts with frontline supervisors on quality issues, and must always report to TQ Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Perform all the physical and chemical tests in the Milling and Packing areas.
• Be able to perform some miscellaneous tasks like:
• Inspect sifter tailings
• Lime purity
• Release corn transfers to production
• Clean work area
• Be able to perform other functions when necessary.
• Comply with Azteca Milling Policies.
• Perform all analysis according to training matrix.
• Input data into SAP
• Employees holding this position will be required to perform and any other job-related duties as requested by management such as hours worked and general cleaning.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Highschool or GED
• Read and write English and/or Spanish.
• Able to use a hand calculator.*
• Minimal computer skills.*

*This skill will be observed during the first three months of work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Physical Requirements: Climbing stairs and vertical ladders, balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, vision, and repetitive motions.
• Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
• Environmental Conditions: Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, noise, vibration, hazard, and atmospheric conditions.
