Contact Center Associates develop and strengthen member relationships through consistency, knowledge, and delivery of transactions, information, or education through various member communication channels.

In support of the credit union’s mission and vision, Contact Center Associates explore needs and educate contacts on credit union products and services that will benefit them and expand their financial relationship with the credit union.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides superior service by answering all inbound phone calls, emails and fax requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identifies potential product or service needs, provides education on our products and / or services, and either assists or refers as needed.
  • Receives and processes member’s financial transactions efficiently and accurately, prepares any documents and correspondence necessary to fulfill member needs and satisfaction.

Qualifications :

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
  • Ability to remain calm especially during escalations and times of high call volume.
