Job Summary
B&A is looking for an EBS Functional / CM Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. As an EBS Functional / CM Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementation and Configuration Management (CM) processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of EBS, particularly the Projects modules for Planning and Control, Portfolio Analysis, Costing, and Contracts. Additionally, expertise in CM concepts such as Baselines, Requirements, Change Requests, and ATOs is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements related to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) projects and modules.
- Provide functional support and expertise in configuring, customizing, and optimizing EBS applications, with a focus on the Projects modules.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and document CM processes, including Baselines, Requirements, Change Requests, and Approval to Operate (ATO) procedures.
- Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of CM tools and systems to support project lifecycle management and version control.
- Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of EBS configurations and CM processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on EBS functionality and CM best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and updates related to EBS and CM methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
- Strong understanding of EBS Projects modules, including Planning and Control, Portfolio Analysis, Costing, and Contracts.
- Solid knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) concepts and methodologies, including Baselines, Requirements, Change Requests, and ATOs.
- Experience with CM tools and systems, preferably within an Oracle EBS environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Desired Skills
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) certification(s) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
- Knowledge of Oracle Database Administration (DBA) principles and practices.
Security Clearance
- The candidate must hold an active clearance type.
