What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at B & B Warehouse?
The main objective of the Customer Service Representative for B&B Warehouse is to interface with customers prior to and/or after sale. Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answering the phones, timely booking of appointments, and calling to confirm appointments
- Maintaining pleasant demeanor and commitment to customer service
- Serving as first point of contact for clients thus setting the tone of the experience
- Following-up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates; may compute price, discount, sales representative’s commission, and shipping charges as required
- Remaining current on product offerings and staff member pricing and the time needed to conduct certain services
- Preparing invoices and shipping documents such as export papers and commercial invoices
- Redirecting client challenges to management as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience with customer service a plus
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
