Ziegler is once again pleased to introduce our very popular and highly sought-after Ziegler Internship Program for Summer 2025! This program is open to current college students who will be entering their Junior or Senior year (Seniors strongly preferred) in the Fall of 2025, and who have an interest in the healthcare/senior living industries. We encourage bright, motivated students to apply who have a desire for hands-on experience in investment banking in a fast paced, energetic environment.
Responsibilities will vary based on practice team but could include…
- Assisting with research related to investment banker and client requests as well as industry trends
- Performing specific tasks for our investment banking teams including credit profile and capital structure analysis, strategic alternatives analysis and valuation analysis as well as client presentations and pitch book preparation.
- Conducting tasks related to live client financings as well as M&A/sponsorship transitions that are in process.
- Constructing dynamic three statement operating models comprised of bottom-up, client-specific projections.
- Conduct detailed financial models including DCF, LBO, and accretion /dilution models, as well as relative valuation analyses including public company comparables and precedent transactions.
Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to hear from various leaders and practice heads throughout our entire firm in weekly cross-practice information sessions. Further, our Senior Living Analytical Team offers Interns weekly educational sessions related to senior living finance. Interns may have the opportunity to participate in Ziegler hosted conferences held in our Chicago office with one focusing on institutional bond investors and the other on a family of private equity funds that Ziegler co-sponsors.
