Job: Touch-Up Painter
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday. Overtime as assigned.
Job summary: The Touch-up painter will paint any missed areas, scratches, chips, or light coated area with protective material such as enamel or epoxy.
Responsibilities: Prepares surfaces for painting. Painter blends paint and other materials to achieve the right color and texture. Applies thin even coats of paint to various surfaces lacking paint, paints chipped spots with a brush, compares, color with color chart to match standard color. Handles planning and prep work in an efficient matter. Cleans equipment with recommended cleaning solutions daily. Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills: Arm and hand strength, physical dexterity, and balance. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating with customers, co-workers, and management. Detailed orientated.
Physical requirements: May have to lift-up to 50-100 lbs. with help.
