Job Posting for Warehouse shipping at B&H

Essential Responsibilities :

Large Shipping job duties include but are not limited to the following :

  • Unload merchandise from trucks and move merchandise to designated areas for inspection and stocking
  • Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents
  • Scan items against order slips to ensure full order is filled with correct merchandise
  • Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
  • Stock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process
  • Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s orders
  • Pack and seal boxes following standard procedures
  • Use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system

Additional Responsibilities :

Additional tasks as assigned by management

  • Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance
  • Extended periods of standing / walking (10 hours / day)
  • Attention to detail and ability to count
  • Must be able to locate and identify specific items
  • Must be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system
  • Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures

Required Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 AM 4 PM
