Our company is a leading player in the telecommunications industry, known for our commitment to innovation and excellence. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, as it involves managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment,benfits adminstration,onboarding, employee retention, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Lead strategic HR planning to foster organizational growth, addressing issues such as succession planning, workforce development, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Implement new hire orientation, the employee onboarding process and employee retention and recognition programs.
  • Administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, leadership training and work assessments.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals, contributing to long-term operational planning.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all people-related matters, leveraging HR metrics and analysis to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Enhance employee engagement and communication strategies to build a positive work environment and ensure high levels of staff morale and motivation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; SHRM-CP or PHR a plus!
  • At least five years of progressive human resource management experience .
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience in deploying and managing HRIS systems is essential, with experience in Inova a plus!
