Maintenance Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and according to the standard set by B & W.

· Travel between other B&W facilities on demand in between growing seasons if required.

· Assist with operational support on equipment and coordinate schedules parts and repairs.

· Train personnel in the correct manner to perform and complete daily, monthly quarterly, semi-annual and annual PM’s.

· Completion of all work orders via EMAINT.

· Fabricate material and come up with corrective solutions to resolve problems.

· Perform both emergency and corrective action repairs.

· Ready both building and processing equipment for season start-up and shut down.

· Maintain communication with Plant Managers, Operations Team, Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Director.

· Supervise and manage time affectedly with no supervision.

· Be able to work a minimum of 5 days per week, six days per week when required and 8-12 hours per day. Weekend work may be required.

· Read equipment O&M manuals and generate parts requests lists.

QUALIFICATIONS

· EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 5-8 years of maintenance in a food grade industrial facility preferred.

· If a current B&W employee is applying for the Maintenance Supervisor position, the requirement is a minimum 3 year as a Maintenance Technician III with an above standard performance appraisal from the Maintenance Director.

· Electrical and troubleshooting experience.

· Ammonia Refrigeration, HVAC, Industrial Ice Machines, and Boiler experience required.

· 5S Experience for Lean Manufacturing practices preferred.

· Understanding Vibration and lubrication analysis, Thermo-graphic imaging a plus.

· Knowledge of electronic circuitry, PLC’s and VFD’s

· COMMUNICATION SKILL LEVEL: High

· COMPUTER SKILLS: High

· A willingness to further education with both outside training courses and hands-on training on equipment as required.
