b19 are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Estimator in Transportation to joining a dynamic estimating team. The successful candidate will be responsible for projects are focused on electrical scopes for railroads, airports, and highways.
Key Responsibilities of the Lead Estimator:
- Reviewing project plans, requirements, and specification
- Understanding project logistics and project schedule
- Performing accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing
- Understanding of national, state, and city construction codes of the trade and location of work • Developing and executing strategy to win work
- Managing assignments of estimating resources
- Managing bid/proposal schedule
- 5 years’ experience in estimating
- Experience preferred in highway, railroad, and airport work
- Bluebeam and Excel experience is preferred
