Our newly opened Distribution Center is currently looking for Assemblers. Applicants must be self motivated and able to stay on task, while able to comprehend and follow instruction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Building furniture, bikes, and other products from disassembled to assembled with the use of hand tools
- Reading and interpreting work instructions
- Operating machinery such as screwdrivers, electric drills, hammers, etc.
- Securely shrink-wrapping items before placing them in boxes or skids
- Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations
- Performing general warehouse duties as necessary
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform related duties as assigned by Warehouse Lead or Operations Lead
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
Skills and Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- Great team player and have the willingness to help the entire B2 team be successful each day
- Ability to assemble furniture and other items
- Experience with various hand and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great self-independence and motivation
- Ability to follow B2 procedures and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for full days
- Ability to use a radio frequency or barcode scanner
- In-depth knowledge of industry safety regulations
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, rotate, and lift up to 50lbs
