Event Server (Part-Time)

Beau Monde is looking for event servers (part-time) to join our strong, growing team. We are located in Charlotte, NC, spanning across 3 venues. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Event Server to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Event Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service during various types of events, ranging from weddings and corporate gatherings to private parties. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve guests in a variety of service styles, including plated meals, buffets, stations, and passed appetizers.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to our service standards throughout the event.
• Clear tables efficiently and discreetly during and after events.
• Set up and arrange tables according to event plans and specifications.
• Lift and carry trays of food and beverages, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and move for extended periods (up to 10 hours) during events.
• Work collaboratively with the event team to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in event or banquet serving.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Availability for occasional morning events as required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with different service styles (plated, buffet, stations, passed).
• Knowledge of basic food and beverage preparation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing event needs.
• Certification in food handling and safety is a plus.
