Network Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Network Manager will work with end users to ensure they are able to provide outstanding services to our customers. The Network Manager will work with our Managed Service providers as the lead architect of B2B solutions of our 400 users across 20 sites to drive uptime and to provide infrastructure services to the teams. Responsible for the local network, the print environment, and the end user compute environment. Provide oversight of our managed service providers as they manage and maintain our server environment. The Network Manager will also be responsible for driving security within the B2B environment.
Essential Functions
- Procure, Configure, setup and manage various LAN and end user hardware
- Oversee various Managed Service Providers as they support the environment
- Resolve various trouble tickets for our 20 locations
- Help to implement and manage our ticketing solution
- Monitor Server performance and tune appropriately
- Create domain group policies for security, updates, authentication and access
- Manage/Support Corporate Email System
- Manage/Support Corporate Ring Central System
- Create and maintain standards related to IT equipment, procedures and configurations
- Maintain IT asset tracking
- Maintain Local Area Network overall performance
- Provide tier 2 technical support for Help Desk daily
- Elevate issues / concerns to management as needed
Required Education and Experience
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 clients
- Strong Active Directory management and group policies skills
- Windows Server 2018, IIS, SQL Server, and Exchange
- Good knowledge of firewalls, switches and routers
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with a diverse group
- Must be organized, detail oriented and self-motivated individual
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at one time, while meeting deadlines
- Proven trouble shooting, problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven project management skills
- High level of confidentiality
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS Information Services or Computer Science or equivalent) required
- MS Certified Professional (MCP) or higher required
- 5 years experience in IT infrastructure
- 5 years technical support of MS Windows operating systems, Active Directory environment preferred
This position is a full time position located in Addison, IL. Some remote work will be acceptable.
This position requires up to 25% travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
