Our direct client is looking for Sr. Business Data Analyst for Data Engineering Team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and understand business requirements related to data engineering and analytics
- Refine user stories from a technical perspective and prepare documentation for data pipelines and analytics workflows
- Clarify business objectives, understand primary goals, and translate them into technical solutions
- Write Acceptance Criteria in a suitable & testable format for testing data pipelines and analytics solutions
- Collaborate with the team to document data flow diagrams and system integration diagrams
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of experience in professional IT roles, with at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Analyst in an Agile environment
- Technical understanding of software development, SDLC, and data engineering concepts
- Experience working with APIs, technical story writing, and data analysis
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
- Previous experience operating in a role that required analyzing and optimizing data workflows
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to independently multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus
- Proficiency in tracing data and user flows with minimal guidance
- Experience with Jira or another sprint tracking/ticketing system
- Strong critical thinking skills to determine the best outcomes and resolutions
- Research-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Growth-minded professional who demonstrates initiative in both team environments and independently
