The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for setting and communicating the sales vision, overseeing and leading the business development and marketing efforts of B2E Solutions.  They are responsible for creating strategic business partnerships and driving new revenue sources for the organization.  They must initiate, implement and close wining sales strategies that enable the organization to achieve its key performance objectives.

 This leadership position will take ownership of B2E’s growth efforts, make improvements and lead the success of our sales and marketing team.  The VP of Business Development must be a great team leader, with the ability to attract, mentor, train and retain a high performing team.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Create and nurture strategic business partnerships
  • Develop interactive sales strategies based on client needs and B2E guidelines
  • Meet with prospects to sell new services, assist the sales team with prospect meetings and seek out new business through prospecting and marketing
  • Direct and oversee the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching and mentoring sales staff
  • Put metrics in place for sales and marketing team and measure progress against those metrics
  • Identify and lead sales and marketing team operational process improvements
  • Lead marketing strategies such as social media marketing, content marketing, cold calling, emailing and other strategies to develop viable business leads
  • Represent the organization in various functions like conferences, showcases and seminars to create awareness about organization services and generate potential leads
  • Communicate growth initiatives on a regular basis
  • Meet regularly with management team to ensure everyone is pursuing a common vision
  • Participate in developing corporate vision, objective, core values and strategic plans
