SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:Performs a range of general clerical and minor HR support functions in an organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Assist in weekly time card calculations.
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks (print, scan, copy, file).
  • Perform all necessary data entry.
  • Verify discrepancies on time card and/or invoices.
  • Provide clerical support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Post job ads, screen resumes, and call candidates.
  • Process new hire orientation.
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain documents and records.
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
  • Constantly update job knowledge.
  • Other job duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • High school or associate degree in related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in basic office duties.
  • Fluent in writing, reading, and speaking English.
  • Read, write and speak Chinese.
  • Takes initiative to perform extensive work.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrates a “can-do” positive attitude.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in MS Office - MS Excel and Word.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel understanding concepts of databases, filtering data, use of mathematical, logical, statistical and financial functions a plus.
  • Work well with tight deadlines in a minimal supervision environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers.
  • Well organized.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
