We are currently recruiting for a part time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opportunity at our Boyle Heights clinic. No addiction experience required! Great opportunity with a very competitive pay.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides medical services including taking a history and physical examination for both the primary care program and the narcotic replacement therapy program, and performs appropriate follow-up on patients' medical issues as indicated.
Provides health counseling services under the supervision of the MD and follows the progress of patients. Makes appropriate records of findings during examinations and submits charts to MD for signature.
Will write drug orders or written transmittal orders and call for refills under the supervision of the Medical Director and also dispense narcotic treatment therapies as needed in place of dispensing nurses. Will perform phlebotomy functions in this position.
Requirements
- Candidates must be licensed to practice in the State of California
- Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner/PA in good standing with the State of California
- Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population
- Substance Abuse Disorder training/knowledge is preferred but not required
Salary Range:
The salary range is $63.00 to $68.00 an hour plus shift differential
