Package Handler

BABAMS LLC is a Contract Delivery Service supplier for the United States Postal Service. We are currently seeking applicants to serve as package handlers on a mail route.

This is a unique opportunity for the motivated, self-starting individual who would like to become part of our team to serve the Palmer, AK community.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must have a valid drivers license.

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.

• Must reside in the area or neighboring town.

• Must pass a criminal background check.

• Must have a clean 5 year driving history.

• Must pass a drug test.

• Must be detailed oriented.

Duties & Responsiblities:

• Sorting parcels for active customers.

• Loading parcels into vehicle.

• Delivering parcels, Express mail and other accountable mail items as required.

• Adhering to ALL USPS rules and regulations.

• Providing EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE to all ALL customers.

Experience:

• USPS delivery experience (preferred) but will train the right individual.

• Customer service and/or delivery background (preferred)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

• United States (Required)

• Time off requests will not be accepted between October 31st thru January 15th due to this being the busiest time of the year. If hired will this be an issue?
