Responsibilities – Powersports Sales Consultant

• Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish a customer network
• Present vehicle product information, pricing, and incentives
• Answer sales calls and respond to internet inquiries
• Adhere to structured dealership sales process
• Thorough follow up for all sales prospects
• Welcome guests to the dealership
• Ensure that the motorcycle is the right "fit" for the Guest
• Demo Rides
• Appointment scheduling
• Proactive with potential Guests/leads and follow through on confirmed dealership appointments
• Develop an understanding of powersports vehicles, snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features between models
• Consistently striving to improve their knowledge and skills of our products and services by using the tools provided such as online training, magazine articles, off site training, and on-site management training.
• Maintaining security and safety throughout the store always
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and housekeeping
• Use basic math and computers effectively and accurately
• Communicate effectively with peers, customers, and management
• Work well in a diverse, fast-paced, and results-oriented retail environment
• Being punctual and at work as scheduled

Qualifications of a Powersports Sales Consultant:

• Previous sales experience is preferred but is not required when accompanied by a great attitude and willingness to learn.
• A valid driver’s license
• A high school diploma or GED
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
