The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for the coordination within the organization to ensure a successful execution of the fabrication of the units in Joplin.

The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for the coordination within the organization to ensure a successful execution of the fabrication of the units in Joplin.
Essential Responsibilities
- Communicate schedule requirements to the production teams.
- Monitor project progress of all projects, especially high-value and high-priority projects.
- Expedite the production teams and the various support functions that may be delaying production in order to achieve the baseline dates of all projects.
- Randomly perform schedule audits to verify that actual progress on the shop floor (materials and manufacturing) meets reported progress.
- Provide root cause analysis and assist Production Controls with recovery plans when project schedules fall behind the baseline.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.
- Manufacturing experience in related field required.
- Knowledge of material movement or material flow is preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent reading, comprehension, organizational, and planning skills.
- Must have some scheduling knowledge and experience reading and reporting schedule progress in either MS Project of Primavera (P6).
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
- Knowledge of welding processes and manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office operating systems.
- Knowledge of Primavera (P6), DCAP, Kronos & Costpoint programs a plus, but not required.
