Job Posting for Talent Acquisition Specialist at Babcock & Wilcox
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing external (and internal) talent for roles at all levels within North America while building a diverse talent pipeline for current and future roles. In collaboration with HR business partners and hiring managers, they support the employment process with sourcing, screening and qualifying potential candidates.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for all assigned roles
Partner with internal hiring teams to understand the role requirements, the business function, ideal candidate profile, and to define the candidate search strategy for each position
Develop, implement, and execute hiring strategies for requisitions
Engage and source active and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, and relationship building in order to present high quality, diverse candidates to fill key roles across North America
Conduct initial candidate screens and provide a high-level assessment of a candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities and overall fit with the role
Drive offer process - including extending offers and negotiating and closing candidates
Prepare job postings and ensure that postings are placed on highly effective and appropriate web sites, portals and social media.
Build a strong network of candidates through expert use of online sourcing techniques, networking, referrals,
Implement new initiatives to increase pipeline and build B&W brand awareness
Maintain & utilize data reports and performance metrics on a regular basis
Maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and vendor, as necessary.
Qualifications
3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience across multiple functions: engineering, technology, corporate, etc. along with 2 or more years of HR experience, preferred.
Strong knowledge and experience with sourcing across multiple platforms to include LinkedIn and other social recruiting platforms.
Experience using web-based applicant tracking system, Taleo preferred
Excellent computer skills including: Windows, Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and HR related software (e.g. Oracle preferred, Fusion, Taleo).
Strong knowledge of HR practices, principles, and applicable laws especially as they relate to the sourcing and recruitment process
Ability to partner and influence managers and leaders across all levels of the organization
Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent assignments
Strong organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
Works well independently, yet is cooperative in working with team members
